Warranty Terms & Conditions – Playtime™ and Yorkville™ Pools & Liners
Playtime™ and Yorkville™ above-ground pools and liners include a 25-Year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Standard Warranty Coverage:
The standard warranty provides 25 years of prorated coverage against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for the pool structure and liner, beginning from the original date of purchase.
Extended Warranty Option (if purchased):
The Extended Warranty upgrades the standard coverage to 5 Years Full (non-prorated) Warranty followed by 20 Years Prorated Warranty, for a total warranty period of 25 years from the original purchase date, covering the pool structure and liner only.
Warranty Transferability:
This warranty is transferable one (1) time to a subsequent homeowner only upon the sale of the property where the pool was originally installed. The pool must remain at its original installation location for the warranty to remain valid.
Non-Transferable & Void Conditions:
The warranty is not transferable and will be void if the pool or liner is:
- Removed, relocated, or reinstalled at another property
- Disassembled for resale or reuse
- Installed at a different address than originally registered
- Used with a saltwater system or salt chlorination when the pool or liner was not manufactured or approved as salt-friendly
Salt System Use:
Damage to the pool structure or liner caused by the use of salt, saltwater systems, or salt chlorinators on non-salt-approved pools or liners is not covered under this warranty.
Exclusions & Limitations:
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Fading, discoloration, or cosmetic changes
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
- Damage resulting from improper water chemistry, including corrosion, staining, or scale
- Ground movement, freezing, flooding, fire, wind, or acts of nature
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
Freight & Labour:
This warranty does not cover freight, shipping, removal, installation, reinstallation, or labour costs under any circumstances.
Proof of Purchase:
Valid proof of original purchase and installation date may be required for all warranty claims.
Manufacturer Authority:
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by the manufacturer. Warranty remedies are limited to the repair or replacement of defective components only, at the manufacturer’s discretion.
No Additional Warranties:
No other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are offered beyond those stated herein.
